WIRE LATH - GALVANIZED 3 X 8

Reinforcing stucco and plaster, this 3' x 8' sheet of galvanized wire lath is an expanded metal mesh fastened to a wall or framing to give stucco, plaster, and thick mortar something to grip and to reinforce the coat against cracking. The diamond-mesh steel keys the wet material so it bonds and holds on walls, ceilings, and curves, and the galvanized coating resists the rust that would stain and fail the coat. Nailed or stapled to the substrate and overlapped at seams, it forms the base for a sound, crack-resistant stucco or plaster job. At 3' x 8' the sheet covers a wall area. It is the standard reinforcement for stucco, plaster, and masonry coatings.
