STRUCTOLITE - 50 LB.

Building up a plaster base coat, this 50 lb. Structo-Lite is a lightweight perlite-aggregate gypsum basecoat plaster that trowels on over lath or masonry as the brown or base coat under a finish plaster, covering more area per bag and weighing far less than sand-based plaster. The perlite aggregate makes the mix light and insulating while it keys into lath and bonds to masonry, building a sound, crack-resistant base for a finish coat. Mixed with water and troweled on, it fills and levels to receive the finish plaster. A 50 lb. bag covers far more than a sand plaster of the same weight. It is the standard lightweight basecoat plaster for plaster walls and ceilings.
