Solvent-welding PVC pipe and fittings into permanent, leak-tight joints, this 16 Oz. gray PVC cement chemically fuses the pipe and fitting into a single piece rather than merely gluing them. Brushed onto a primed joint, the medium-body gray cement softens the PVC surfaces so they bond as the joint is pushed together and cures into a connection as strong as the pipe itself. It works on Schedule 40 and Schedule 80 PVC for pressure and drainage systems, and the built-in dauber in the can makes application quick and controlled. Paired with PVC primer, it is the standard for joining PVC drain, waste, vent, and cold-water piping.
