TAPE - TEFLON 1/2" X 520"

Sealing threaded pipe connections against leaks, this 1/2" PTFE (Teflon) thread seal tape wraps male threads to fill the gaps in the joint and form a tight, leak-proof seal. As it is drawn into the threads, the tape lubricates the connection so fittings assemble and tighten more easily and can be adjusted without galling. Made of 100% PTFE, it resists water, most chemicals, high temperatures, and rust, holding up on potable water, air, and gas lines alike. At 1/2" wide on a 520" roll, it is an everyday plumbing staple for the truck, shop, and maintenance cart.
