Sealing off a 3" pipe end takes seconds with this Fernco flexible cap, which slips over the pipe and clamps down without glue, threads, or a torch. The elastomeric sleeve stretches on and a stainless steel band clamp cinches it to a watertight seal, perfect for closing a cleanout, capping a stub-out, or blocking a line for a drain or pressure test. It removes just as easily with a nut driver, so a single cap serves through multiple stages of a job. For a quick, dependable 3" closure, it is faster and more forgiving than a permanent cap.
