Controlling steam flow into a radiator, this Mepco 1/2" angle radiator valve regulates the supply of steam to a two-pipe or vacuum steam radiator, opening and closing the line right at the radiator. Built of brass for steam service, it seals tightly around the stem for positive shut-off and holds up to the heat and pressure of low-pressure steam heating. It is rated for systems from 25" Hg vacuum up to 25 psig steam, making it a fit for Mepco and Vent-Rite Vari-Vac vacuum steam systems as well as standard two-pipe steam. As a angle valve, it suits the matching radiator connection, and it is a direct replacement for a worn or failed radiator supply valve.
