VALVE - ERIE 1/2 SWEAT BODY

Controlling hot- or chilled-water flow to a single heating or cooling zone, this Erie 1/2" sweat valve body is a two-way PopTop zone valve body that pairs with an Erie PopTop actuator to open and close a zone on a call from the thermostat. Sized for 1/2" sweat (solder) connections with a 2.5 Cv flow rating and a 40 psi close-off, it handles residential and light-commercial hydronic zoning -- baseboard, radiant, fan-coil, and similar loops. The PopTop design lets the matching actuator snap on and off without draining the system or using tools, so a power head can be added or replaced in minutes. As the body only, it is the flow-control half of a zone valve; add the correct-voltage actuator to complete the valve.
