This No. 5 pipe thread sealant is a soft-set, slow-drying compound that seals, lubricates, and protects threaded pipe and fittings, and joints can be pressurized immediately after assembly. Brushed onto the threads, it lubricates the connection for a tighter make-up and then seals against leaks on pipe made of galvanized steel, iron, brass, copper, and more. The soft-set formula stays workable so joints can be adjusted and later taken apart for service. Supplied in a 16 Oz. brush-top can, it is a professional-grade sealant for a wide range of threaded plumbing and mechanical pipe.
