Easy Sand 90 is a lightweight setting-type joint compound that chemically hardens in about 90 minutes -- not just air-dries -- yet sands easily, combining a fast, hard set with easy finishing. Mixed with water and applied to patches, cracks, deep fills, and bead, it sets on schedule regardless of humidity so a second coat or sanding follows the same day, and unlike a standard setting compound it sands smooth with little effort. The hard set resists cracking and shrinking on deep fills and the first coat over tape. An 18 lb. bag covers a run of patching and finishing.
