Unlike ordinary paint that sits on the surface, it penetrates the pores of the masonry and bonds to become part of the wall, plugging the pores to block water from the inside out -- it is guaranteed to stop water and resists up to 10 psi of hydrostatic pressure, equal to a 22-foot wall of water. The low-odor, non-flammable latex formula brushes or rolls on, cleans up with soap and water, and can even be applied to damp surfaces, while staying tintable to match a space. On basement walls, foundations, retaining walls, cinder and concrete block, brick, and stucco, it is a dependable defense against dampness, leaks, and musty basements.
