CARBON ALARM - 10 YR. LITHIUM

Carbon monoxide protection should not depend on someone remembering to change a battery, and this Kidde 10-year sealed-battery alarm removes that task. An electrochemical sensor monitors for carbon monoxide, and a sealed, tamper-proof lithium battery keeps it working for the full 10-year life of the alarm, including during power outages. It switches on automatically when it is attached to its mounting bracket, so installation takes seconds. At the end of its life, the unit chirps to signal that it is time to replace it. A 10-year limited warranty covers the life of the alarm.

Key Features:

• 10-Year Sealed Lithium Battery -- Tamper-proof battery eliminates battery replacement and unauthorized deactivation over the life of the alarm.
• Electrochemical CO Sensor -- Continuous monitoring for carbon monoxide, even during power outages.
• Loud 85 dB Alarm -- A red LED pulses and a loud alarm pattern sounds when a dangerous level of carbon monoxide is detected.
• Event Memory -- A red LED flashes every 60 seconds if a high level of carbon monoxide was detected within the last 14 days.
• Simple Installation -- Activates automatically when attached to the mounting bracket. A test/reset button checks operation, and an end-of-life chirp signals replacement.

• Apartments and multi-family units -- Low-maintenance CO protection for bedrooms, hallways, and living areas.
• Rental turnovers -- Fast, no-wiring replacements between tenants.
