Fixtures built around T12 lamps still need the right tube to keep running, and this FB40/CWX/6 U-BEND is a 40W T12 U-bend fluorescent with 6" leg spacing in 4100K cool white. The 1-1/2" diameter lamp uses a medium bi-pin base and runs on a compatible ballast, so it is a direct replacement for the same designation in older T12 fixtures. The U-bent shape is made for recessed troffers.
